POOR GUY NO.1 and GHOUL inboxing (Rotten Factory)

Image
Hello everyone! In the last two weeks, I got some very nice models that would be worth unpacking for the blog.
At the outset, let me say that the new blogger sucks. I definitely don't like this new post maker.Returning, to the heroes of today's entry.
Every time I receive something from Paweł from Rotten Factor, I melt in praise!
It is no different this time.
The excellent quality of resin castings goes hand in hand with a very nice sculpture. The figures will be used as Dreg and Ghoul for the emerging Undead band for MoRdheim .. (but about this project for some time)https://rottenfactory.eu/

Wracając jednak do bohaterów dzisiejszego wpisu.
Za każdym razem gdy otrzymuję coś od Pawła z Rotten Factor rozpływam się w pochwała…

Gildor Inglorion's scouts #1 (Oathmark Elf Light Infantry Champions)

Image
Hello!
I invite you to the post dedicated to Gildor today, one of the elves that Frodo meets on his way to Mordor.
The occasion was to paint three metal light archers from the Oathmark Elf Light Infantry Champions set.

The miniatures look great in my opinion - they are not heroic fantasy with exaggerated weapons and clothes. They are so more real.

"Courage is found in unlikely places."
-Gildor to Frodo
Gildor Inglorion
Was a Ñoldor Elf met by Frodo Baggins on the edge of the Shire, at the beginning of Frodo's venture out of his home.

On September 24, 3018, Gildor and a company of Elves were passing through the Shire, singing as they walked, and without realizing it they caused a Nazgûl who was seeking Frodo to flee. Gildor recognized Frodo, though they had never met, for he knew Bilbo.
He invited Frodo, along with Sam Gamgee and Pippin Took, to spend the night in the Elves' company. To the three Hobbits, Gildor and the Elves appeared to shimmer as they walked through the nig…

Felix Jaeger (Gotrek & Felix novels)

Image
Hello everyone!
I present a cult character from the world of Warhammer today (no, not Age of Sigmar, but a real Hammer) and one of my favorites from this universe.
I painted him again after over 20 years. I chose a classic look, as described in the books about the adventures of Gotrek and Felix. I heartily dislike any shit-green coats and other nonsense. Felix must be Felix :)
Invite!

Felix Jeager came from a wealthy merchant family. As the son of an influential merchant, he lived a carefree and fun life. He studied at the University of Altdorf to become a poet in the future. He was also a good swordsman and loved to duel.

His and Slayer's paths crossed after a series of unfortunate events. During one of the duels, he accidentally killed one of the students. The consequence of this was expulsion from the scholars and disinheritance by his father.

Felix's next prank was to participate in the protest against the window tax. To chase the crowd, the authorities sent the E…

DwarfCrypt celebrates 1 million views! / DwarfCrypt świętuję 1 milion wyświetleń!

I warmly welcome!
Today is an opportunity for BIG THANKS to YOU all! DwarfCrypt celebrates 1 million views!
I still remember how good a few years ago I reached 100,000 and it seemed a lot and it was unthinkable that someone would like to look at these scribbles and read a few historical and fantastic curiosities from time to time :)

Over the years, the website has undergone several layout changes, to stay the current one, in my opinion, quite transparent.
Important moments in DwarfCrypt's life include changing the domain from blogspot to pl
andgiving a few interviews
Also managed to make some money of blogging and get dozens of great models and books for review.

However, the most important are YOU, my dear. Thanks to your visits and dozens of comments, I can proudly and with even greater pleasure create new entries :)

THANK YOU

Michael

Mikołaj Powała from Taczew's armed men / Zbrojni Mikołaja Powały z Taczewa

Image
Hello everyone!
My relocation is over. There are still a few boxes left to unpack, but more importantly things, including paints, are already in place.
I'm back to the mini-project that I started a year ago and it's time to finish it.
Talking about a small group of armed men (ideal as, for example, a bretonian band to Mordheim, or as an introduction to a larger army in Lion Rampant) under the command of the Polish knight Mikołaj Powała from Taczew.

In this project I used mainly metal models from Claymore Castings, which I consider to be one of the best from the mid-14th to the second half of the 15th.
As the title Polish Knight, I used the model I bought some time ago on Kickstarter.
Fit quite well for a knight (waiting for a mount) from the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries and has a "dog's mouth" helmet popular for knights.
I hope you like it :)

Witam wszystkich!
Moja przeprowadzka dobiegła końca. Zostało jeszcze do wypakowania kilka pudeł, ale co ważni…

Mordheim: Night Goblins from Karak Azgal - Black Orc Bodyguard (Rotten Factory Miniature)

Image
Hello everyone!
There have been a lot of entries recently devoted to long-bearded gentlemen, so today, for the sake of balance, another greenskin for my Night Goblins band from the fallen dwarf fortress Karak-Azgal.
A mercenary - the Black Orc - will join the already painted shaman and a few goblins.
Using an ordinary Black Ork from GW would be too easy, so my Mercenary Blade will be a Rotten Factory mini (as far as I can see, it is no longer available for sale, so the better this unique piece will look in my collection).

History. Part I.
Karak Azgal, formerly known as Karak Izril, was once an exceptionally wealthy dwarven stronghold that was conquered by greenskins and skaven.

When the world was still young, the dwarf strongholds beneath the World's Edge Mountains stretched from Karak Vlag in what is now Kislev to Karak Zorn in the south.
The dwarf dug the mountains for rich deposits of precious stones and metal ores, especially gromril. Anyone who dared to get in their way - an…

The story of Golgfag's Regiment of Mercenary Ogres / Historia najemnych Ogrów Golgfaga (RR8 - Golgfag's Regiment of Mercenary Ogres)

Image
Hello!
Moving and packing continues, and the 1980s Golgfag's Ogres (R8 - Golgfag's Regiment of Mercenary Ogres) arrives on the blog.
I love these oldhammer sculptures even as they have a lot of curves and bad detail.
However, they have the atmosphere that perfect 3D sculptures often lack.

The ogre will join as a mercenary to the currently painted Dwarf band.
Interestingly, these Ogres were once small compared to the later ones!

I am planning another entry in about 2 weeks due to unpacking leave. Take care!
Feel free to watch and read!

The story of Golgfag's Regiment of Mercenary Ogres.
The wars between the Goblins and Dwarfs had just begun when Golgfag and his Ogre band emerged out of the northern darkness. Golgfag was the chief of the Rutdrogg clan, and he saw the impending war as a good opportunity to gather loot and fresh meat. The Rutdroggs shambled out of their mountain homes and straight into the employ of Bogdan Legbreak, the chief of the Goblins of the northern Misty Mounta…
