[EN/PL] Landsknechts VI: "Pike Court / "Sąd Pik"

Image
Hello everyone!
I invite you to the fifth part of the history of the Lancknechts formation today. On this occasion, I painted two new models from Warlord Games:

A plastic soldier with a two-handed sword from THIS BOXand another metal from the LOOTING PARTY BOX
Plastic Landsknecht wins definitely better in terms of quality of workmanship and sharpness of details. However, metal designs also have a lot of charm and ingenuity in poses.

Other entries related to this multicolored formation can be found below:

Hello everyone!
Back to the 80s to minis that are calmly my teenagers (Gnome is!) today.
I have a really big fondness for old Games Workshop models.
I have nice associations with the first sessions in WFRP, which we passionately created in the mid-90s, delighting with these old models on the chalk pages of the rulebook.

That is why, from time to time, I will buy a really oldhammer mini and remember it while painting.
I invite you to watch Ranger (C07 series) with long bow and Gnome (C11 series 1985) today.

Witam serdecznie!
Dziś powrót do lat 80tych do figurek, które spokojnie są moimi równolatkami (Gnom jest!).
Mam naprawdę duży sentyment do starych modeli Games Workshop.

Zapraszam dziś do obejr…

[EN/PL] Northern Crusades. Latrunculi / Struters (knights - brigands). Teutonic Order #4 / Krucjaty Północne. Struterowie (rycerze rozbójnicy) Krzyżacy #4 (Fireforge Games)

Welcome!

I invite you to the second post (and the fourth about the Teutonic Knights) about knights-robbers serving the Teutonic Order.

For this project I used models from the from Fireforge Games:
Foot SergeantsAs I mentioned in a previous post about this formation - Struters / Latrunculi were in the thirteenth century at the service of the Teutonic Order during the Northern Crusades and the wars of the Teutonic Knights with Prussia and Lithuanians.

White coats were only allowed to be worn by brothers-knights and chaplains (including priests and clerics). The servants' brothers had to be satisfied with gray cloaks and shields (with a specific cross).
As my robbers, of which more below, are not servant brothers, but more mercenaries in the service of the Order, their dress is not orthodox, and only shields show who they are fighting for.

When in 1260 the Prussian tribes rebelled against the Order's authorities, the Struters had their hands full. The Prussians were pagan…
